AROMATHERAPY



Aromatherapy offers an all-natural way to help balance physical, emotional and spiritual health through the therapeutic use of aromatic plant essences (essential oils).Your private consultation will include a 45 minute holistic health assessment to discuss the client's concerns, wellness goals and to fill out a client intake form.


Based on the information provided by the client and preferred method of application, the aromatherapist will create a custom blend that specifically addresses the wellness concerns the client is experiencing with directions for use of the product.


Your aromatherapy consultation is available via telephone or at our Bay Shore location and is scheduled directly with the consultant via email or phone.


Note that custom aromatherapy products created for the client will be priced individually in addition to the consultation.



NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE



There are many factors that contribute to an individual's well-being such as nutritional diet, environment, fitness level and spiritual balance. This initial consultation will take all of these elements into consideration and focus on developing a plan that will help you make beneficial decisions contributing to your health.


We require a minimum of 5 days of food intake (food diary) at the initial consultation. We also would like a client's resting heart rate (taken when one first wakes up).


We will review your food diary and discuss eating habits, also cover Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), to ensure proper intake for your needs. We will discuss certain foods and touch on macro nutrients, carbs, protein, fats(good), greens, fruits, nuts, legumes. This will result in an outlined nutrition program based on your goals and objectives.


This initial consultation will be approximately two (2) hours. Follow up consultations will last approximately 30 minutes and scheduled directly with the consultant.



MANUAL STRETCHING



Manually manipulating muscle is an art in itself. When the body is in a completely relaxed state, we are able to slowly elongate the muscle that we are trying to stretch. Slowly increasing the degree of movement and lightly applying more tension to a point of a bearable threshold on a specific muscle allows it to increase elasticity. By continuously implementing this technique the range of motion in the body will increase and therefore become more flexible, increase blood flow and reduce pain and inflammation.


Physical fitness can be part of everyone's daily regimen. Working with an experienced fitness professional that implements proper form and technique contributes to safety, vibrancy and vitality. This motivation, driven from passion, helps a client keep a consistent schedule that enables the neurological response needed to promote a flow or rhythm.


There will be an assessment prior to your session in order to determine an approach that is right for you. Forty-five minute sessions and one hour sessions are available. Sessions are scheduled directly with the consultant.
